Yesterday...well everyday leading up to Christmas, I feel like being festive and wearing Christmassy stuff. My daughter made me a green infinity scarf because I usually wear a lot of red at this time of year. (I have also been wearing my hair curly!....it's easy and fun!)
My youngest daughter who is in 5th grade has caught my flare for festivity but she wears elf hats and socks with giant white fuzzy trim. I do love seeing adults walking around in Santa Hats, but, that's just not me.
Of course, I had to wear my red pants to go with the green!
One of the tests of my fashion sense is listening to other people. I love it when younger girls tell me I look cute "for a mom". Frankly, I don't want to look cute for a teenager! That would just be wrong. I am fine with looking....my age (really, I am :-)

Christina...Thanks so much! My daughters are 16, 13 and 10! Of course, I get lots of "feedback on how I look" but it's fun to have little fashionistas to consult with :-)
Have you ever read the book Curly Girl? I read it years ago and still swear by its methods.
