Yesterday I decided to clean the entire house in one day.
I have made this decision in the morning before and it lasts for about a room and a half before I get bored.
But not yesterday...I turned up the Pandora and fought lots of urges and made it through....with the help of my sturdy Dyson (I am in love with this vacuum cleaner!)
The biggest area to tackle was my daughters closet.
Generally, I am fundamentally opposed to cleaning my 16 year olds room.
I feel like she should clean it because she needs to learn to take care of herself before she leaves for college. There's just one problem with that....she's too busy trying to get into college by taking AP classes and volunteering at church and
ok...I digress. This is an issue for me...I'm sure there's a blog in there...
Here's the before and after of her closet.
(Great closet, huh? Hmmmm...another blog...)
As if cleaning the entire house wasn't a heart attack enough,
I gave them another one...which was much more fun than cleaning!
I wrote things that I love about everyone in my family on paper hearts and stuck them in their newly clean rooms...
I also left a pile of hearts and a pen in each room for more notes to the rest of the family for later..
I even left the double sided tape out in the hallway...
And it worked! They wrote some to me and some to their sisters (and even Daddy got a few!)

Thanks Mia!
BTW...I love the vintage Coach! I just bought a Coach bag at the outlet this past weekend and LOVE it! Hopefully my daughters will be coming to "borrow" it in 20 years! I'm sure it will last!
Thanks for visiting!
