Fashion Friday...Spring Shoes

 My 3 daughters and I have this thing about seasons.

Here in California we don't really get seasons...we get previews but not much of the real thing.  

The closest we come is summer...but it usually comes at the end of September when you're already over it and wanting for Fall.

We agree though, that you should wear seasonal clothing during that season no matter what the weather.  For instance...we just can't get behind Ugg Boots in the summer.  

If you wear that...I'm sorry.  I will try to treat you like anyone else, but it's difficult.

SO- the other day I broke our rule!  

(I saw women trying to be nice to me but it was hard for them because I was wearing open toed shoes in Winter... what goes around comes around I guess :)

BUT- before you judge me...it was 80 degrees and the allure of these shoes just sitting on my closet shelf was killing me!

I bought them last summer and didn't get nearly enough chances to wear them before it was boots season (notice I didn't say boots weather because it's literally 95 in October here)

They are a little high but that stacked wood heal makes them super comfy.

I took this next one in my backyard to prove how amazing the weather was.

Ahhhhh....alas the rain is back today and it's FREEZING...like 52 degrees! 

I'll put them back on the shelf until the actual season arrives...which I'd like to argue is this weekend when we Spring forward but I'll have to check with my 3 little fashion consultants to make sure!
